Volunteer at the Bridge Wellness South
Use your gifts to bring hope, help, and encouragement to women and families.
At The Bridge Wellness South, volunteers are an important part of how we care for women and families.
Some serve directly with clients. Others help behind the scenes. Some have a few hours to give each week, while others serve at special events or in areas that match a particular skill or passion.
What they share is a desire to make a meaningful difference.
Our Greatest Need Right Now: Client Mentors
Recently, our Client Services Director shared an important need with our team.
We have divided our Family Support clients enrolled in the Invest Parent Program among the faithful volunteers already serving, but even after doing that, 60 women remain without a mentor.
Our model of care is about more than providing pregnancy services, education, and practical resources.
We want women to have someone who will walk with them.
A client mentor offers encouragement, consistency, a listening ear, and practical support as a mom navigates pregnancy, parenting, relationships, and everyday challenges.
You do not need to be a counselor or have all the answers.
You simply need a willing heart, a desire to encourage women, and the ability to show up consistently. Our team provides training, resources, and support along the way.
Sometimes mentoring means celebrating progress.
Sometimes it means listening on a difficult day.
And sometimes it is simply reminding a woman:
You can do this. There is hope. You are not alone.
There Are Many Ways to Serve
Mentoring is our most pressing need today, but it is not the only way volunteers make The Bridge possible.
Depending on current needs, volunteers may serve through:
- Family Support and mentoring
- Client care and hospitality
- Boutique organization and assistance
- Administrative and office support
- Special events and fundraising
- Church and community outreach
- Men’s and fatherhood ministry
- Professional or specialized skills
Not every opportunity is available at all times, but we would love to learn more about your interests, experience, and availability.
Could There Be a Place for You?
If you have ever wondered whether you could serve at The Bridge, we would love to begin that conversation.
Completing a volunteer application does not commit you to a specific role. It simply helps us learn more about you and gives our team the opportunity to discuss current needs, expectations, training, and where your gifts may fit best.
And if volunteering is not possible for you right now, you can still help.
Share this page with someone from your church, workplace, family, or community who may be looking for a meaningful way to serve.
Together, we can make sure women and families receive not only practical help, but genuine relationship, encouragement, and hope.
