We're Hiring: Join Our Mission Team as a Volunteer Coordinator
Are you passionate about helping others discover meaningful ways to serve? Are you organized, relational, and comfortable guiding people through a process? The Bridge Wellness South is seeking a dependable, mission-aligned individual to serve as our new Volunteer Training and Engagement Coordinator.
At The Bridge Wellness South, we provide compassionate, holistic care to women and families facing unexpected pregnancies. Volunteers are essential to this mission, and this position will help prospective volunteers move from initial interest to prepared, confident service.
What Makes This Role Unique?
This is more than coordinating paperwork and training schedules. You will often be one of the first people to welcome prospective volunteers into the mission of The Bridge.
You will help individuals understand where their gifts can be used, guide them through onboarding and training, and connect them with meaningful opportunities to serve. Your encouragement and follow-through will help build a well-equipped volunteer team capable of serving women, men, and families with excellence and compassion.
What We’re Looking For:
- Mission Alignment: You demonstrate a committed Christian faith and share our life-affirming mission and values.
- Relational Warmth: You communicate with encouragement, compassion, professionalism, and appropriate boundaries.
- Training Ability: You are comfortable explaining information clearly and facilitating training for individuals or small groups.
- Organization and Follow-Through: You can manage applications, training steps, documentation, and follow-up within a limited weekly schedule.
- Sound Judgment: You can help determine appropriate volunteer placement, protect confidential information, and recognize when a concern should be referred to leadership.
- Dependability and Flexibility: You can work approximately eight hours per week and accommodate occasional evening or weekend training.
- Team Collaboration: You work well with staff and volunteers and respond to feedback with maturity and a willingness to grow.
Experience in volunteer coordination, training, ministry service, education, human resources, or a related area is preferred.
A Glimpse Into Our Impact
In 2025, The Bridge Wellness South served more than 1,000 patients and provided nearly 700 ultrasounds, along with education, material support, spiritual encouragement, and practical resources for families.
Behind every service is a team of staff and volunteers committed to creating a place where people are treated with dignity, compassion, and hope. This position will help prepare more volunteers to become part of that impact.
